The concept for this restaurant merges the high-energy of Asian night markets with the urban edge of the local Philly street scene. To create a unique and dynamic dining experience, utilitarian objects were used throughout. Thousands of chopsticks were used to create screens between the booths, tea crates were converted into dining stools, and Chinese medicine cabinets were used for the bar front. A graffiti artist was commissioned for the mural spanning across the brick dining room wall and neon signs were hung on walls clad in Asian roofing tiles. Included in the design are an open show kitchen with sushi and noodle bars, a full-service liquor bar, and private dining and karaoke rooms.
