Serving local, organic Mediterranean fare in a SoCal-chic setting, Olia was designed to provide an authentic and approachable dining experience for both The Glenmark Hotel guests and patrons from the surrounding Glendale neighborhood. The concept, centered around acclaimed Fig & Olive chef and his menu, uses a material palette with shades of green, natural woods, and lots of plants and potted olive trees for a vibrant yet casual feel. The Sidewalk Café, serving Intelligentsia coffee and small bites, took on a local coffee shop flavor, with careful attention given to Intelligentsia’s branded red and retail requirements. While sharing space, staff, and kitchen, the two dining areas received coordinated yet unique aesthetics.
